After trying several bottled and filtered water brands, including Gourmet, I finally switched to H2O Refresher in Samanabad, Lahore, almost a year ago. Since then, my family and I have been extremely satisfied with both the water quality and their overall service.

Using their premium ozonated water, I will rate them 100/100. Quality is superior than Nestle for sure.

What the report does not mean

A laboratory report applies to the specific submitted and tested sample. It does not automatically prove that every future bottle, delivery vehicle, storage environment or production batch will always produce identical results. Ongoing hygiene, maintenance, batch control and periodic retesting remain important.

This article therefore uses the exact phrase “safe for the tested parameters”, rather than an unlimited “100% safe” guarantee.

Original 2026–27 documents: open and inspect them

Transparency is more useful than a generic “certified water” badge. Each document below opens in full resolution so customers can inspect the dates, sample code, parameters, interpretation, signatures and validity period themselves.

Document naming note: the two June 2026 laboratory documents shown above were issued by PCRWR. They should not be described as PCSIR reports. Any separate PCSIR report should be published under its own correct institution name, report date and file.

PCRWR physical and chemical results: parameter by parameter

The following figures are transcribed from the supplied PCRWR report. “BDL” means below detection limit; “Nil” means the report recorded no measurable value for that listed parameter.

Parameter Reported result Permissible/reference limit shown Reading note
Colour Colourless Colour scale/reference shown as 05 Visual and aesthetic parameter
Electrical Conductivity 256 µS/cm NGVS Conductivity reflects dissolved ionic content; it is not by itself a complete safety score.
pH 7.80 6.5–8.5 Within the range printed on the report.
Turbidity BDL 0.5 NTU Below the report’s analytical detection limit.
Alkalinity as CaCO₃ 50 mg/L NGVS Reported major chemical parameter.
Bicarbonates 50 mg/L NGVS Reported major chemical parameter.
Calcium 24 mg/L 100 mg/L Below the printed permissible limit.
Carbonates Nil NGVS No reported measurable carbonate result.
Chlorides 30 mg/L 250 mg/L Below the printed permissible limit.
Total Hardness 100 mg/L NGVS Reported as calcium-carbonate equivalent.
Magnesium 9.7 mg/L 100 mg/L Below the printed permissible limit.
Potassium BDL 10 mg/L Below the report’s analytical detection limit.
Sodium 20 mg/L 50 mg/L Below the printed permissible limit.
Sulphate 48 mg/L 250 mg/L Below the printed permissible limit.
Nitrate (N) BDL NGVS Below the report’s analytical detection limit.
Total Dissolved Solids 162 mg/L 500 mg/L Below the printed permissible limit.
Arsenic 2.12 µg/L 10 µg/L Below the printed permissible limit.
Fluoride BDL 0.7 mg/L Below the report’s analytical detection limit.

On mobile, swipe the table horizontally. Values have been transcribed for readability; the scanned PCRWR document remains the controlling source.

TDS is not a complete safety certificate

A TDS figure measures dissolved material. It does not by itself confirm the absence of bacteria, E. coli, arsenic or other individual contaminants.

pH is one parameter, not the whole report

The reported pH of 7.80 falls inside the range printed on the report, but water quality must be assessed through the complete group of tested parameters.

BDL does not mean mathematically zero

BDL means the laboratory method did not detect the parameter above its stated detection limit in the tested sample.

Microbiological report: the three recorded results

Microbiological indicators are important because a clear-looking bottle can still require microbial testing. The supplied PCRWR report records the following values for the submitted product-water sample.

Microbiological parameter Unit shown Permissible value printed PCRWR result
    Total Coliforms CFU/100 ml 0/250 ml 0
    Fecal Coliforms CFU/100 ml 0/250 ml 0
    E. coli confirmation CFU/100 ml 0/250 ml 0
Report interpretation: the supplied microbiological document marks the sample “Safe” and states: “Sample is found safe for the tested parameters.”
Responsible limitation: these results belong to the sample collected on 10 June 2026. Continued sanitary handling, clean storage, bottle-washing procedures, maintenance and future retesting remain necessary.

Punjab Food Authority licence: valid through June 2027

The supplied Punjab Food Authority certificate identifies the licensed business, owner, address, category, licence number and validity period. The details below are reproduced from that certificate for easier verification.

Licence field Certificate detail Why it matters
Business name Refresher H2O Pvt Limited Connects the published certificate to the operating business entity.
Owner name Muhammad Ali Zaidi Identifies the name printed on the supplied licence.
Business address 154 N Ghazali Road, opposite Union Council Office, Samanabad, Lahore Supports local NAP and location consistency.
Licence number LHR/M-C/34687912 A specific reference customers can compare with the original certificate.
Licence category M-C Category code printed on the supplied certificate.
Licence start 1 July 2026 Beginning of the displayed licence period.
Licence expiry 30 June 2027 The certificate should be renewed or replaced before this date.
A licence supports regulatory identity and operating status. It does not replace batch hygiene, laboratory testing or responsible storage. Those are separate parts of a complete water-quality system.

Why Refresher H2O describes itself as a water processing unit

    More than a single filter

“Processing unit” is used here as a descriptive operational term—not as a new regulatory category. It refers to a workflow that combines treatment, category-specific adjustment, quality control, bottle handling and dispatch.

1 Incoming-water pretreatment and particulate removal
2 Carbon, polishing, reverse-osmosis and UV stages
3 Category-specific mineral adjustment where applicable
4 Ozonation for the designated premium category
5 Bottle cleaning, filling, sealing and route dispatch

Simple filtration and managed processing are not identical ideas

A basic filtration vendor may describe only the equipment that removes sediment, taste, odour or dissolved material. A managed processing workflow also has to consider what happens before treatment, after treatment and between filling and delivery.

For Refresher H2O, the relevant evidence is not the phrase “processing unit” alone. The useful signals are the published licence, dated laboratory reports, visible operating address, disclosed categories, bottle-handling procedures, maintenance schedule and direct customer-review links.

No process description should be treated as a substitute for current test results. Equipment can only support quality when maintenance, sanitation and operational discipline are consistently followed.

Maintenance and testing calendar: documented vs company-stated

External laboratory testing and internal operating checks serve different purposes. They should be communicated separately rather than blended into one vague “we test every day” claim.

Daily production controls — company-stated Refresher H2O states that routine production checks and bottle/seal observations form part of its internal operating discipline. Internal checks are not the same as an independent PCRWR or PCSIR laboratory certificate.
Every Friday — dedicated maintenance period The company states that Friday is reserved for dedicated plant maintenance. A recent customer review also mentions regular plant maintenance.
Approximately every second month — external-testing target Refresher H2O states that it targets periodic third-party testing or reporting approximately every second month. Each future report should be published with its original date and institution rather than silently replacing an older file.
10 June 2026 — independently recorded sample date The latest supplied PCRWR reports record product-water sampling and receipt on this date.
22 June 2026 — independently recorded report date PCRWR issued the physical, chemical and microbiological results shown on this page.
30 June 2027 — displayed PFA licence expiry The current licence image should be updated on the website after renewal so customers and search engines do not rely on an expired document.

Three water categories: one processing unit, different finishing paths

This report-focused article does not repeat the entire home-page process guide. The summary below explains how the three currently advertised categories differ. Current pricing and ordering details should always be confirmed on the official Refresher H2O home page.

    CATEGORY 1

    Classic Purified

The core purified-water route for customers seeking the lowest-priced current Refresher H2O category.

    PKR 90
    Current advertised 19-litre refill price
    CATEGORY 2

    Mineral Boosted

Purified water followed by the company’s controlled mineral-adjustment process for its designated mineral category.

    PKR 120
    Current advertised 19-litre refill price
    CATEGORY 3

    Ozonated Premium

The company’s premium category combines its mineral route with the stated ozonation finishing stage and premium handling workflow.

    PKR 160
    Current advertised 19-litre refill price
The PCRWR report relates to the submitted “Product Water” sample. It should not be interpreted as an automatic, permanent and separate certificate for every category unless the laboratory documentation itself identifies those categories individually.

How this fits the WHO approach: manage risk across the full chain

WHO drinking-water guidance is built around risk management rather than relying on a single number or one-time certificate. The practical idea is straightforward: protect the source, manage treatment, control contamination opportunities, verify performance and respond when monitoring identifies a problem.

Do not rely on appearance alone

Clear water can still require microbiological and chemical testing. Taste and colour are useful observations but not substitutes for laboratory parameters.

    Use multiple control points

Treatment equipment, storage hygiene, bottle handling, maintenance and verification work together. Failure at one stage can affect the final product.

    Retest over time

A dated laboratory result is evidence for its sample period. Publishing future reports creates a more credible quality history than leaving one old certificate online.

The supplied PFA certificate shows licence LHR/M-C/34687912 for Refresher H2O Pvt Limited, valid from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027.

    Where is Refresher H2O located?

The published address is 154 N Ghazali Road, Samanabad, Lahore. The PFA certificate additionally identifies the landmark opposite Union Council Office.

Which nearby Lahore areas are served?

The advertised service areas include Samanabad, Ichra, Ferozepur Road, Iqbal Town, Gulshan Ravi and Shadman, subject to route confirmation.

Water delivery areas: Samanabad first, then nearby Lahore routes

Samanabad Primary plant and local service area
    Ichra Nearby route-based delivery coverage
Ferozepur Road Coverage subject to active route and address
Iqbal Town Scheduled residential and office routes
    Gulshan Ravi Scheduled delivery coverage
Shadman Route confirmation recommended before ordering
Nearby locality not listed? Send the complete address on WhatsApp so the delivery team can confirm whether it falls inside an existing route.

How to verify any Lahore water supplier before ordering

This checklist applies whether a household is considering Refresher H2O or another supplier. It focuses on evidence that can actually be inspected.

Ask for the exact licence number and expiry date A logo saying “licensed” is weaker than a current certificate showing the business name, address and validity period.
Open the original laboratory report Check the testing institution, sample date, report date, sample code, parameters, interpretation and limitations.
Separate microbiological and chemical testing A TDS reading alone cannot replace E. coli, coliform, arsenic or parameter-specific testing.
Ask how bottles are cleaned, inspected and sealed The post-treatment container and handling chain can affect the final delivered product.
Ask for the maintenance schedule Equipment condition, sanitation and replacement practices matter after installation.
Look for dated updates rather than permanent badges A series of dated reports is more informative than one certificate repeatedly labelled “latest”.
